Prepare a useful source record
A table record can provide the title, description, status, and other content for a design template. Review the actual field values before creating the design: a placeholder headline or unverified offer will otherwise become part of the resulting asset.
Keep the record’s source evidence, intended destination, owner, and review status together. This makes it easier to determine whether the design reflects the latest approved brief. AI-generated field values should be checked before they are used as public claims.
Create and return the asset
- Open the source table and select the record containing the approved content.
- Right-click the record and choose Create design from record.
- Inspect the template slots populated from title, description, status, or similar fields.
- Adjust the editable text, images, and layout; check the destination dimensions.
- Use Send to table to attach the exported image to its remembered source record, then inspect that attachment.
Keep sources and outputs distinct
| Artifact | Role |
|---|---|
| Source table record | Brief, owner, evidence, and status |
| .kidesign file | Editable layers and layout |
| Exported image attachment | Review or delivery snapshot |
Review before changing status
Open the returned attachment and compare its wording with the record. Check the intended crop, typography, and output size. Only mark the record approved after the actual image has been inspected; a successful attachment operation does not establish that the asset is correct.
Keep the source design for revisions and distinguish earlier candidates from the selected delivery copy. If the record later changes, review whether the design also needs an update instead of assuming every field edit automatically refreshes all previously exported images. CSV exports do not carry the complete editable design and its dependencies.

Create an editable poster in Design Studio
Kition Design Studio is a workspace editor for posters made from text, images, and shapes. Its editable source is a .kidesign file, separate from the exported image.
Export a design as PNG, JPEG, SVG, or PDF
Kition 0.1.49 exports PNG, JPEG, SVG, and desktop PDF, with remembered scale and background settings. Keep the .kidesign source as the editable master.
