Who we are
Kition is a desktop AI workspace that connects editable documents, structured tables, Whiteboards, images, designs, and visual workflows. Its public React and Electron client is available in the KitionAI/kition repository; published desktop builds pair that client with a separately maintained runtime. Public source and release history provide a way to inspect the client and check which version a feature description refers to.
What we believe
We believe in observable AI behavior, reviewable changes, flexible model choice, and workflows that produce useful artifacts instead of disposable chat transcripts.
Product principles
Useful: every capability should shorten real work. Transparent: Agent context, tool activity, review points, and artifacts should be inspectable. Honest: runtime contracts are not marketed as shipped user workflows before their controls and tests exist. Pragmatic: solve real problems, do not stack features.
