UI tour
The Kition interface is a set of connected work surfaces around an active workspace. Documents explain, tables organize records, boards show relationships, and the Agent works with selected context.

Complete one small task before exploring every panel
Start with a document or record that represents real work. Learn where the source lives, how to focus the editing surface, and where the Agent shows its activity. This gives each panel a purpose instead of turning the tour into a list of controls.
- Open the intended workspace and locate the project in its navigation.
- Open one document or table and make a small direct edit.
- Open the Agent panel and inspect the context before making a bounded request.
- Review the resulting work using the controls appropriate to that surface.
- Return to the source item and confirm the final content.
| Surface | Primary purpose |
|---|---|
| Document | Narrative and linked evidence |
| Table | Typed records and operational state |
| Whiteboard | Visual relationships |
| Agent panel | Context, tool activity, and task output |
| Workflow | Configured repeatable actions |
Workspace launcher
The launcher lists workspace folders known to this device. Select one to activate it, open another local folder, rename its launcher entry, or remove it from the list without deleting the folder.
Workspace navigation
- Sidebar — project tree, documents, tables, browser surfaces, and other workspace sections
- Top bar and tabs — active workspace, open items, view actions, import/export, and contextual controls
- Main pane — the active document, table, Whiteboard, browser page, workflow, or other selected surface
- Agent surface — task input, tool activity, generated artifacts, and reviewable changes tied to the active context
Create and open work
Use the workspace create menu or command palette to start supported content. The available actions depend on the current surface and release capabilities.
Documents, tables, Whiteboards, browser pages, and workflows each keep their own contextual controls instead of forcing every task through one generic editor.
Review Agent changes
When the Agent proposes supported document or Whiteboard changes, inspect the preview before applying it. Accept, reject, or revise the result rather than treating generated output as final by default.

Keyboard shortcuts
Kition 0.1.41 uses application shortcuts, but the public Settings navigation does not expose the older Shortcuts pane described by previous documentation. Treat old shortcut lists as unverified until a current keybindings reference is published.
