Is the free plan crippled?
No. The core surface — editor, tables, agent, MCP, Hooks, subagents — ships fully in Free. Pro and Enterprise add hosted services and team workflows.
How are AI costs billed?
By default you use your own API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, AiApiy, custom). The provider bills you directly; Kition takes no cut.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything except actual AI provider calls and web fetches works without a network.
What about data loss?
A vault is a normal folder. Back it up with iCloud, OneDrive, Time Machine, or Git. Kition is not the custodian of your only copy.
