Filter, sort, and group

Operators depend on field type

Not every schema type is filterable in the 0.1.41 UI. In particular, document_link, link_to_record, lookup, rollup, formula, and button do not expose filter operators.

• Text, long text, and URL — is, is not, contains, does not contain, empty checks
• Number, rating, and auto number — equality, comparisons, and empty checks
• Date, datetime, created time, and modified time — equality, before/after bounds, and empty checks using a date value
• Single select and user fields — equality, any-of/none-of, and empty checks
• Multi select — has any, has all, exact-set comparisons, has none, and empty checks
• Checkbox — is checked or unchecked
• Attachment — empty or not empty

Sort by multiple fields

Add more than one sort rule. The list order is the priority order: Kition compares the first sort, then uses the next sort when earlier values compare equally.

Each rule can be ascending or descending. Remove or reorder rules in the Sort panel to change that priority.

Group by supported fields

Grouping is available only for text, single_select, and checkbox fields. You can add multiple group rules; they produce nested group headers in the configured order and direction.

Kanban uses a group field for its columns. Grid grouping renders vertical group headers that can be collapsed.

Footer summaries

The footer reports the current record count. It also displays sum and average for up to three visible number fields that contain numeric values.

Kition 0.1.41 does not publish the old 50,000-row performance guarantee or arbitrary per-group aggregate catalog. Test large operational tables with representative data and the actual view configuration.
